An impressive large-scale oil on canvas measuring 45 x 62 inches depicting a dramatic multi-figure scene with a classical theme; displayed in a custom quality modern frame measuring 56 x 72in; this painting hung in Gary Prouk's Toronto office above his fireplace

Provenance: this is a fragment of what is thought to be a much larger Renaissance-era painting, Gary took it to the AGO for a recommendation on restoration, as well as an appraisal many years ago; unfortunately no other documentation currently exists; the canvas appears to be 18th century or possibly earlier

NOTE: Due to size, this painting cannot be shipped via Canada Post or courier
