A highly unique selection of artwork from the estate of the late Stephen Joy of London, Ontario, a well-known art educator and owner of the Trajectory Gallery in the 1970's highlighted by 8 original acrylics by Joshim Kakegamic, 3 oils on panel by Alice Innes, paintings by Eric Atkinson, Alexander Fleming, Ken Jackson, Cawthra Mulock, William Parsons, Karl Zerbe, George Forgie, Robert Ford Gagen, J.P. Hunt, Emil Hermann, a fantastic selection of rare prints including Pierre Alechinsky, Leonard Baskin, Kim Ondaatje, Group of Seven Markgraf serigraphs, a set of four A.J. Casson silkscreen prints, David Milne, Jacob Lawrence, Thoreau MacDonald & James Rosenquist; together with rarities such as an early Thai folding manuscript with hand-drawn images and text, Qing Dynasty theatre puppets, pair carved African Ngil masks, Chinese charcoal rubbings & so much more of equal interest.
