Late 1800's butler's call box from the residence of Sir John Carling, 36 Grosvenor Street, London (built in 1886), housed in an antique oak case measuring 41.9cm (16 1/2in) high x 19.1cm (7 1/2in) wide; rooms listed on the box include "Dining Room, Library, Drawing Room, Sir John's Room, Lady Carling's Room and Miss Carling's Room" - John Carling, 1828-1911, a politician and prominent businessman from London, Ontario who was associated with the renowned Carling Brewery
