1. Ten Days that Shook the World by John Reed, this item is a First Printing in the U.S.S.R. in 1967, in English, of John Reed’s famous first hand 1919 account of the Bolshevik October Revolution in St Petersburg in 1917, and includes historic photos of people, events, and publications of the time; the introduction to the Soviet Edition by Vladimir Lenin and his wife, Nadezhda Krupskaya, is translated also into English; the book closes with The Biography of John Reed by Albert R. Williams (retranslated from the Russian); the outer slip cover design replicates the first Soviet Edition of 1923, and the hardcover is red with gold embossed title and author on the front and spine, rather than western editions the hardcover colour of which is green; the volume is in very good condition; the Soviet Edition is currently for sale online for US $850.00

2. The German Air Force in the Great War by Neumann; this volume is a very rare pre-release copy "for review" of the original work Die Deutschen Luftstreitkrafte im Weltkriege by Major Georg Paul Neumann, as translated and condensed by J.E. Gudron and printed at London by Hodder and Stoughton Ltd. in 1920; the book contains many historical illustrations of German aircraft as well as aerial photos of parts of England taken by German aircraft; presented in good condition with navy blue cloth hardcover with gold embossing on the spine

3. Britain's Wonderful Fighting Forces by Captain Ellison Hawks, R.A. and published in 1940; the signed foreword is by The First Sea Lord, Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Dudley Pound, G.C.B., G.C.V.O.; containing a great number of historical photos related to the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, and Army, the book is presented in good condition with embossed maroon front cover and spine with gold title also on spine
