Circa 1897 Catholic sick call set comprising wood storage box/carrying case, crucifix, candelabra, two dishes and spoon, used by priests to administer the 'Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick' when visiting a person seriously ill or injured; the case measures 37.5 x 16.5cm (14 3/4 x 12 x 6 1/2in); a similar example can be found at The Donnelly Museum, Lucan
